What is a Team Member?
Team Members are any auxiliary staff within a clinic. This includes receptionists, office managers, chair-side assistants, etc.
Why is there a Practitioner fee and a Team Member fee?
The Practitioner registration is for those who can legally provide treatment, including physicians, dentists and nurses. Practitioners are trained on how to provide treatment to the patient, including the injection techniques etc.
The Team Member registration option is for all other users, and is a separate course than practitioners. In Level 2, Team Members attend a completely separate course (Botox & the Influential Team) from the Practitioners which covers office integration, marketing, photography, etc.
I’m not a Dentist, Physician or Nurse – can I still take the training?
The Practitioner training is geared for medical practitioners who are legally able to provide cosmetic injectable treatment. Please contact your regulatory body to determine whether botulinum toxin, dermal fillers etc are in your scope of practice. A current license and malpractice insurance is required to take the course.
Anyone may take the Team Member training portion of the courses.
