Dr. Josh Kirkpatrick brings a fresh perspective and passionate commitment to PTIFAT as a Clinical Instructor specializing in Botox applications. A proud graduate of PTIFAT’s comprehensive training program, Dr. Kirkpatrick exemplifies the modern approach to integrating therapeutic and aesthetic Botox treatments into contemporary dental practice.

Born and raised in Saskatoon, Dr. Kirkpatrick built a strong foundation in the biological sciences with his degree in physiology and pharmacology before pursuing his dental education at the University of Saskatchewan College of Dentistry. After graduating in 2016, he completed a General Practice Residency in Saskatoon, dividing his time between hospital-based dentistry and community clinic practice in the downtown area. This diverse training provided him with extensive experience treating patients across all demographics and clinical presentations. Dr. Kirkpatrick joined Fairhaven Dental in 2017 and assumed ownership in October 2019, demonstrating his commitment to providing exceptional patient care in his home community.

What sets Dr. Kirkpatrick apart is his genuine passion for the synergy between therapeutic and aesthetic applications of Botox in dentistry. He understands that modern patients seek comprehensive care that addresses both function and appearance, and he has developed expertise in delivering treatments that achieve both goals seamlessly. His background in physiology and pharmacology provides him with a deep understanding of how Botox works at the cellular level, enabling him to educate students on both the science and the art of successful treatment outcomes.

Dr. Kirkpatrick brings enthusiasm, clinical expertise, and a patient-centered philosophy to his role as Clinical Instructor. His teaching emphasizes the importance of understanding both the therapeutic benefits and aesthetic possibilities that Botox offers dental patients. Through hands-on training and evidence-based instruction, he helps dental professionals recognize opportunities to enhance patient care while building successful, comprehensive practices.

When not teaching or practicing dentistry, Dr. Kirkpatrick enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, along with lake activities, camping, and time with friends – maintaining the work-life balance that contributes to his positive approach to patient care and education.
