A proud graduate of PTIFAT’s comprehensive training program, Dr. Hamin has established himself as a pioneer in integrating Botox into dental practice at Westbrook Dental Group in Winnipeg, MB.
After earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Manitoba in 1988 and completing a hospital residency in Saskatoon, Dr. Hamin has developed extensive expertise in both therapeutic and aesthetic Botox applications. His practice focuses on TMJ therapy, orofacial pain management, and cosmetic facial enhancements, with particular success treating patients with clenching and grinding disorders, TMJ dysfunction, and other conditions where Botox provides measurable therapeutic benefits.
Dr. Hamin’s clinical interests extend to dental implants, laser dentistry, and sleep apnea care, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of how Botox applications integrate with overall oral health care. His approach combines deep anatomical knowledge with a patient-centered philosophy, consistently asking himself: “What would I do if this was my family member?”
A dedicated educator with more than 30 years as a part-time clinical instructor at the University of Manitoba Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Hamin is passionate about advancing the profession through evidence-based education. He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, a graduate of the Kois Center, and has completed post-graduate training in Aesthetic Dentistry at SUNY Buffalo.
