Alberta Dentist – Botox Course Level 1 Information

Upon completion of Level 1 online (20 hours) and Level 2 hands-on (24 hours), Alberta dentists will have met the College of Dental Surgeons of Alberta (CDSA) L1 and L2 educational requirements and will be trained to start offering botulinum toxin treatments for aesthetic upper face and for bruxism.

For Alberta dentists who wish to fulfill only the CDSA’s L1 educational requirements (without registering for the Level 2 hands-on), PTIFA offers a registration option for completing the hands-on requirement by attending Level 1B – Integrative Cadaver (4 hours) after completion of the online Level 1 (20 hours). Please contact us at 1-855-681-0066 for details.

Additional CDSA Requirements

Prior to attending Level 3, the CDSA requires one year between Level 2 and Level 3, as well as 20 documented patient cases using the Roberts Facial Rejuvenation Photography series.

We always recommend that practitioners check-in with your local college for guidelines and requirements.
