Botox Anatomical Marking Workshop | AACD 2019 | San Diego, CA
Sep 03, 2018Have you ever had a Botox eye-brow droop?
Learn how to predictably provide botulinum toxin (aka Botox/Dysport) injections for maximum effect and minimal side effects. Attend our hands-on Botox Anatomical Marking Workshop at the upcoming AACD Scientific Session in San Diego, CA.
Locating the Landmarks to Predictably Provide Botulinum Toxin Treatment for Maximum Effect and Minimal Side Effects
Speaker: Drs. Jan & Warren Roberts
Date: Thursday, April 25, 2019
Two Workshops: 9:15 AM – 12:15 PM | 2:oo PM - 5:00 PM
Location: San Diego, California
Audience: Dentists + Dental Team (Reception, Chair-side, Hygienists)
This workshop includes detailed anatomical instruction for predictable outcomes with cosmetic botulinum toxin treatment of the upper face. Surface features of the face will be related to the underlying bone and musculature using a skull and plasticized cadaver. A in-depth review of anatomy will be followed by hands-on marking using the PTIFA Marking Technique that identifies vital bony landmarks and identifies the appropriate injection sites for predictable treatment of the upper face.
Learning Objectives:
1. Understand how surface features (facial lines & wrinkles) relate to underlying anatomy.
2. Understand why it is vital to inject knowing anatomy and not inject into "wrinkles".
3. Learn the PTIFA Marking Technique for botulinum toxin treatment of the upper face.
