Cosmetic Botulinum Toxin Certification | BC Naturopaths

To offer aesthetic facial Botox treatments, naturopaths will need to complete both Level 1 online (Advanced Anatomy and Intro to Botulinum Toxin) course (20 CE credits), as well as Level 2 (Basic Botulinum Toxin: Cosmetic Upper Face & Bruxism) course (24 CE credits) to meet the CNPBC’s certification requirements.

Level 1 is an online self-directed course that provides an in-depth review of head & neck anatomy (20 hrs) and its relevance to the administration of offering therapeutic and aesthetic botulinum toxin, dermal fillers & more. Level 2 is clinical course offered in Tsawwassen (located 20 minutes south of Vancouver, BC) offering the most hands-on training offered within the industry. Naturopaths will learn both the aesthetic use of botulinum toxin for the superficial muscles of the upper face (glabella, frontalis, orbicularis oculi) as well as the therapeutic use for facial pain (migraines, headaches, TMD). You will receive closely supervised hands-on training with the opportunity to inject 8-10 patients.

We also offer Team Training courses for your office managers/receptionists/assistants/etc to learn how to successfully integrate treatment into your practice. We recommend either the online Business & Clinical Integration course or the Level 2 – Team Training course.

Injectable Filler Certification | BC Naturopaths

To offer facial dermal fillers, naturopaths will need to take the Level 4 – Basic Dermal Filler course to meet the CNPBC’s certification requirements. Level 4 is an introductory filler course which teaches the judicious use of fillers to increase facial volume, enhance lips and reduce deep facial lines and folds. Level 4 reviews the anatomy, injection treatments and results obtained in Levels 1 through 3 and uses dermal fillers to take results to the next level. Level 4 exceeds the CNPBC’s educational requirements for “Injectable Filler Certification”.

Microneedling Certification | BC Naturopaths

Naturopaths are also eligible to take the medical Microneedling course held in Tsawwassen, BC. This course offers an online & clinical component teaching skin rejuvenation using Health Canada & FDA approved microneedling devices. As a naturopath, you will learn how to stimulate new collagen & elastin production in the dermis using very fine, surgical-grade sterile needles. The course exceeds the CNPBC’s educational requirements.
