Level 3 – Advanced Team Training for BoNT-A
This course is for non-injecting team members (ie: office managers, receptionists, chair-side assistants, hygienists, medical office assistants, pharmacy assistants, etc.) to learn how to successfully integrate botulinum toxin services (ie: Dysport®/Botox®) into a dental or medical office and provide the highest level of patient care.
The course includes a combination of an online session + exam as well as hands-on training to practice the skills in a clinical setting. We find that the practices who are most successful with botulinum toxin are the ones that engage and cross-train their entire team.
Level 3:Â Team Members will learn how to organize syringes for the mid-face, lower, face and platysma, further adding on to the skills learned from their Level 2 training.Â

- Pre-requisite: Completion of the Level 2 - Team Training course which covers basic fundamental skills for the upper-face areas and TMD in training.

Level 3 – Team Training course includes an online component (8hrs), plus a two-day hands-on session held alongside the Practitioner’s training on Friday & Saturday.

DAY 2 (SATURDAY) – CLINICAL HANDS-ON
Team Members begin the day with a review of the Patient Questionnaire on pain/headache/migraines as well as a detailed explanation of the PTIFA platysma band and it’s relevance to TMD. They will then learn about the importance and use of EMG’s, including placement, recordings, photographs of EMG placements and markings, and post-op instructions.
The afternoon portion of the day will focus on hands-on training utilizing the EMG’s on therapeutic patients, as well as assisting as assisting with the specific photographs and syringe preparation for models having aesthetic treatment in the mid-face, lower-face & neck.
Team Members graduate from Level 3 with the knowledge, skills and confidence to assist practitioners with botulinum toxin therapeutically and aesthetically in the mid-face, lower-face & neck. They will receive training on how to place and use EMG’s for the treatment of therapeutic patients. Team Members who successfully complete Level 3 are provided with a certificate of completion, as well as the necessary forms. Through their Practitioner, they are able to register for the online Support Study Club – offering case support and more.

Level 3 – Team Training course includes an online didactic (8 hours with exam), and 2-days of clinical hands-on (15 hours).
23 CE credits are provided upon successful completion of the hands-on session.
