FAQ

Can I still register without having a patient model?

Each practitioner is required to provide a patient model for either aesthetic treatment (glabella, frontalis, crow’s feet, or brow lift) or therapeutic treatment (for bruxism, grinding, clenching, pain, headaches, or migraines). The patient model ensures the maximum injection experience, and aesthetic models must have at least three areas treated.

We recommend that your patient model be an existing patient from your practice, a Team Member attending the Level 2 – Team Training course with you, or a family member or friend. Providing a patient model allows you to track and assess the treatment results back in your practice once training is completed. Additionally, your team can relate their personal treatment experiences to patients. We also suggest you, as a practitioner, consider being a patient model for these same reasons.

If you’re unable to provide a patient model, you can still register and attend the course; however, please note that your injection experience may be more limited.

Is this course recognized by my local college/regulatory body?

Our courses exceed the industry’s highest training standards, however it is up to each participant to ensure that they meet their regulatory college standards and requirements. As such, please contact your local college to confirm scope and for practice guidelines.

I’m an international dentist/physician/nurse, can I still take your training?

The Level 1 course is an online course and is open for anyone to take. The clinical courses (Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4) are open to licensed dentists, physicians, nurses and naturopaths with a current and active license and malpractice insurance.
