FAQ from Ontario Dentists re: Botox® Training

Has Botox and/or Fillers been approved for Dentists in Ontario?
Yes, botulinum toxin, aka “Botox®”, has been approved therapeutically by the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO). Dermal fillers has also been approved for lip augmentation. Click here for details.

Do PTIFAT’s courses meet the college requirements?
Yes! Our Botox®” training program exceeds the requirements outlined by the RCDSO.

How do I integrate into my dental practice?

The clinical protocols and patient care practices (including: photography, ideal treatment sequence, injection templates, injection techniques) taught in PTIFAT’s Level 1 and Level 2 program will confidently allow you to achieve predictable results (and no negative side effects). These skills will allow you to successfully integrate Botox® into a dental practice.

What take PTIFAT’s course?
Invest in a university-level and anatomy based program from Instructors that is geared to help you and your team successfully integrate Botox® treatment into your practice. Stop by our booth at the ODA or call us at 1-855-681-0066. A few other reasons to consider: EMG guided Therapeutic Botox Therapy, the Roberts Facial Rejuvenation Photography series, online courses and lectures to minimize time away from your practice, advanced anatomy – 16+ hours in the online Level 1 course, extensive and separate team member training course for dental assistants, hygienists and office managers, and so much more.

I’ve taken another course. Can I take PTIFAT’s courses?
Yes. We recommend you take the 5-minute and free online Botox® IQ test to asses the depth of your knowledge. Submit the test online and one of our Faculty members will reach out, or contact us at 1-855-681-0066 once you have had a chance to review the test.

Please share this page any of your colleagues practicing or living in Ontario. We look forward to seeing you at the ASM – don’t forget to stop by our booth #1913!
