Join us at this year’s upcoming American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) 2020 Scientific Session in Orlando, Florida. Drs. Jan & Warren Roberts will be hosting two hands-on workshops for dentists wanting to learn how to predictably provide botulinum toxin (aka Botox/Dysport) injections for maximum effect and minimal side effects. Drs. Roberts will also be offering a team training lecture for any team members wanting to learn the foundations of how botulinum toxin is used both therapeutically and cosmetically in a dental practice. At the conference, don’t forget to stop by our booth #201 in the exhibit hall.
Have you ever had a Botox eye-brow droop? This workshop includes detailed anatomical instruction for predictable outcomes with cosmetic botulinum toxin treatment of the upper face. Surface features of the face will be related to the underlying bone and musculature using a skull and plasticized cadaver. A in-depth review of anatomy will be followed by hands-on marking using the PTIFA Marking Technique that identifies vital bony landmarks and identifies the appropriate injection sites for predictable treatment of the upper face.
1. Understand how surface features (facial lines & wrinkles) relate to underlying anatomy.
2. Understand why it is vital to inject knowing anatomy and not inject into “wrinkles”.
3. Learn the PTIFA Marking Technique for botulinum toxin treatment of the upper face.
|This lecture will teach the dental team how botulinum toxin is used both therapeutically and cosmetically in a dental office to improve patient care. This course provides the foundational training for integrating botulinum toxin treatment into a dental practice and how to confidently speak to patients about treatment.|
