Health Canada Approves Microneedling Device InnoPen Webinar

Health Canada recently approved the InnoPen – a new state of the art microneedling device. You can become a Certified Microneedling Technician by completing our Medical Microneedling Course. Dr. Roberts has also posted a recorded webinar (1hr) in the Botox Study Club so that you learn how you and your team can safely deliver improved facial rejuvenation utilizing the device approved only for medical professionals.

What is Microneedling?

Microneedling (also known as collagen induction therapy) is a minimally invasive treatment for rejuvenating the skin. The technology and technique stimulates collagen induction therapy to produce new collagen and elastin to decrease wrinkles, fine lines, dark spots, stretch marks and acne scars. Results can include improved texture and firmness, as well as a reduction in scars, pore size, and stretch marks. Microneedling may also be combined with a topical treatment, like a vitamin-rich serum.

What is the Health Canada Approved InnoPen?

The InnoPen – an automated microneedling device with a unique, dual spring-loaded disposable needle cartridge (InnoTip) that uses an automated, vibrating stamp like motion to cause micro injury to the skin. The gentle stimulation of fibroblast promotes natural induction of collagen and elastin without the stress of pain and lengthy down time associated with ablative treatments. Micro Channels resulting from the needles piercing through the skin layers, aid in infusing therapeutic serums for greater penetration of skin enhancement of overall efficacy. The InnoPen is an ideal choice for non-surgical and non-ablative treatments of various skin conditions.

The InnoPen helps:

  • Intensify trans-dermal delivery for cosmetic, topical, photo aging treatments
  • Diminish fine lines and wrinkles
  • Rejuvenate the skin by improving skin tone and texture
  • Minimize stretch marks
  • Restore youth by effectively tightening, lifting and thickening the skin
  • Improve the appearance of scars
  • Reduce pore size
  • Increase absorption of cosmeceutical solutions
